Nice To Meet You
I'm Sophia, Owner and Planner at Tesoro Event Co. I'm a hopeless romantic, who grew up reading sappy teen romance books, watching the lowest rated romcoms on Netflix, and daydreaming about my future wedding. Tesoro is an Italian term of endearment that, while it directly translates to "treasure", is often used similarly to "darling". Romantic, right?! This is so representative of how I value the love stories I encounter. There is nothing quite like being invited to witness how deeply two people treasure each other.
I have worked in the event and hospitality industry since 2019. My specialty is wedding planning, however, I am happy to be involved in any special day! My obsession with planning paired with my passion for love stories made event coordinating the obvious career path for me. I aim to bring a calming, joyful prescence to an event that can bring stress to many people. My goal is to put out any fires before you can even smell the smoke. Plus, you should be able to be playful, present, and positive on your wedding day!
My Story
I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have two incredible children, a snarky basset hound, and three goofy rabbits. "Grandma Hobbies" are my favorite, so don't be surprised if you catch me gardening, baking, reading, or embroidering in my free time! I often have my nose in a book, and I managed to read 100 books in 2025, varying from fantasy to sci fi to romance to Goodnight Moon. You didn't hear this from me, I definitely make a sauce that rivals your Nonna's!
